When you visit the website, Google processes technically necessary data that your browser transmits, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, and your browser type and operating system. We do not store any website log data ourselves. The processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely and reliably. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The website is delivered via a worldwide server network, so data may also be transferred to third countries such as the USA. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified, and on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Contact form and email
When you send us an enquiry via the contact form, your browser transmits your topic (for example general enquiry, pilot partnership or campus licence), your first name, last name, email address, optionally your phone number, and your message to our server. We store the enquiry and forward it by email to our mailbox in order to answer it. If you email us directly, we process the details in your email. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in handling your enquiry. We delete your data once your enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply. - Waitlist
When you sign up for our waitlist, your browser transmits your first name, last name, email address, your role (“I am a”), your university or institution or hospital and, if you are a student, your current semester to our server, which stores them. We use this data to inform you about the launch of Rescuemation and to tailor our offer to our audience. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by email to info@rescuemation.com. We store your data until you unsubscribe, withdraw your consent or the waitlist is no longer needed. - Server, database and email
Our server, which receives the forms, runs on Google Cloud Run in a data centre in Frankfurt am Main. It logs every request including your IP address in order to secure operations and fix errors; these logs are deleted after 30 days. It does not log the content of the forms. The legal basis for the logs is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The provider is Google Cloud EMEA Limited, Velasco, Clanwilliam Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. We store the form data in a database at Supabase, Inc., in a data centre in Frankfurt am Main. We process our emails with Google Workspace, also provided by Google Cloud EMEA Limited.
We have concluded a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR with both Google and Supabase. A transfer to third countries such as the USA cannot be ruled out. It is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified, and on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
